Toy Bars

Toy Bars features samples from a forgotten musical toy. The instrument consists of a small glockenspiel operated by the chunky keys. The sounds were sampled with condenser and binaural microphones, with 5 round robin repetitions. The key release noises were sampled separately and can be adjusted to taste.

Soundscapes Vol.2 (VST/AU)

Soundscapes, textures and ambiences ready to use as VST/AU plug-in. These sounds are divided into four categories: binaural, concrete, inductor and piezo. The samples were recorded in different places across the world (Las Vegas, Dublin, Prague, Naples, and Cosenza) using studio or portable equipment.

The Satellite is a rare and less known Moog synthesizer from the mid 70s. It’s a monophonic preset synthesizer with one VCO and limited modulations. It was used mostly as an add-on for electric organs, in fact the US company Thomas Organ bought the license to build it. Preset sounds include brass, reeds, strings, other sounds. As many keyboards of that time the Satellite is not properly tuned along all the keys (especially at the extremes) so we included two versions: tuned and untuned.

miniBit 8-bit Synthesizer Plugin Main VST (GUI)

miniBit is an 8-bit/chiptune style synthesizer plugin that emulates the sound of 80s game consoles and retro computers.
It features a main oscillator with 18 waveforms paired with a tunable sub oscillator (square wave). The waveforms are not bandlimited and will produce aliasing. Same of the waveforms were carefully created and edited with an Amiga 1200, while others were meticulously recreated from the sounds of the best classic games that we have collected over the years.

Phase Motion 2 - Phase Plugin VST (GUI)

Phase Motion

Phase Motion is a Phaser plug-in featuring up to 16 phasing stages. You can choose from 5 waveforms (sine, triangle, saw, square, random s&h) to modulate the phase, and you can tweak Depth and Feedback to range from classic vintage phaser sounds to extreme digital modulations. The Rate can be adjusted in Hertz or it can be synced to the host/DAW tempo. For even more phase modulation effects it is also possible to invert the modulation phase for one channel of a stereo signal.

Environments – Piscina Mirabilis

Environments “Piscina Mirabilis” features sound gestures from a handmade electroacoustic feedback setup and the impulse response (three different types) of “Piscina Mirabilis”, a roman water cistern located in Bacoli, in the northwest of Gulf of Naples (Italy). The cistern, made in Augusts era, it’s the biggest roman cistern of drinking water ever realized. The place is entirely made of tophus with a capacity of 12,000 cubic meters of water, it’s 72 meters long and 25 meters large with a height of 15 meters.

Valve Exciter

Valve Exciter is a Harmonic Enhancer plug-in with vintage valve emulation. The exciter section features hand tuned filters with the ability to sweep the center frequencies via the Harmonics knob. The valve section is modelled after a softer custom version of the vintage Telefunken ECC83 tubes with drive, triode/pentode mode and bias settings.

Tank Drum

Tank Drum features samples from a famous steel tongue drum. Also called hank drums, these instruments are usually made out of propane tanks with tongues of different sizes and tuned in different scales. The instrument we have sampled features 8 tongues and it’s tuned in E minor pentatonic. It was played both with hands and rubber mallets along with some sound effects with hands and brushes. The sound has a long release and is rich in harmonics.

Valve Filter VF-1

Valve Filter VF-1 is a multimode resonant filter plug-in with vintage valve emulation. The filter section is modelled after a classic ladder filter with low pass and high pass modes. The valve section is modelled after the vintage Telefunken ECC83 tubes but with added grit and custom gain control.

ChromaKey is a collection of sounds ported to Kontakt from our soundset for AAS Chromaphone. It features 60 patches divided in 6 categories: Keys, Pads, Plucked Strings, Sequences, Soundscapes, and Various. Chromaphone physical modelling synthesis combines acoustic resonators to produce dynamic and expressive sounds.
Despite Chromaphone tagline “creative percussion synthesizer”, ChromaKey focuses entirely on hybrid and organic melodic sounds.
